No review samples, no loaners, no supplier-provided units. We pay retail like everyone else, which means we owe nobody a favourable write-up.
We use it in a normal setting
Testing happens in real homes and on real UK broadband, not on a bench. A mesh system gets tested in a house with thick walls. A chair gets sat in for a month of full working days.
We measure where measuring helps
Where a claim can be checked, we check it — charge times, throughput, lux across a desk, temperature accuracy against a reference. Where it cannot, we say so rather than inventing a number.
We publish the unflattering parts
If something has a real weakness, it goes in the listing. A product description that only contains good news is an advert.
Things that fail
Plenty of products do not make it. They simply never appear on the site — we would rather have a short catalogue you can trust than a long one you have to research anyway.
